Lydney hockey club held their annual club day on Saturday 10th September where players of all ages attended.
A minutes silence was observed in quiet contemplation to pay respects to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Over the course of the day everyone had a chance to take part and play in matches. For some it was a chance to try hockey for the first time to see if they enjoyed it.
If you would like to try hockey then contact the club who welcome members of all ages and abilities. The club runs three ladies teams, Badgers, Vixens and Junior hockey teams.
If you want to come along to watch, there are games every Saturday from September to April at Forest Leisure in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
