Ceramics and GlassIndustry
At Watts Urethane we have a long history in supplying various high grades of polyurethane for isostatic moulding bags (iso-bags) for the ceramic industry. The iso-bags are used to create shapes and minimise the need for post-operative machining, ensuring only the optimum amount of based material is used. Our iso-bag products are filled with the raw material in a powder like form and the bag is then placed into a pressure vessel, where the powder is compressed until it forms a solid part.
