We’ve had some really great wins in 2024 around productivity, a reduction in energy consumption, new health and safety procedures in place, improvements to material waste control and to the factory working environment overall. We are always seeking to improve and 2025 will see us heading towards the goal of achieving our ISO 45001 accreditation.
Here are some of our 2024 milestones…
- Energy used per kg of polyurethane – 28% reduction in energy usage (kWh) per kg of polyurethane processed. Achieved through more efficient machines and practices.
- New dispensing equipment is helping to increase our machine uptime from 85% to 95% over the past year
- Improvements to Health and Safety procedures – starting our journey towards the goal of ISO45001 accreditation
- Improvements to our material waste controls – circa 21% down to 17%
- Improvements to our working environment and factory organisation
There is more to do in 2025 so we’re ready to return in the New Year ready to hit the ground running.
